This document reflects standard practice for an early-stage rental platform in India and is provisional pending legal review. A finalised version will be published by Makan On Rent.
These terms govern your use of the Makan On Rent website and services. By creating an account or booking a site visit, you agree to them.
What we do
Makan On Rent helps you discover rental properties in Udaipur and connects you with a Makan On Rent agent to arrange site visits. We are not the property owner, landlord, or a licensed real-estate broker — we facilitate introductions and visit logistics.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Agent and admin accounts are created by Makan On Rent only and are not available through public sign-up.
Site visits and pricing
Your first two site visits are free (lifetime, per phone number); every visit after that is charged at the rate shown at checkout, collected in person by your assigned agent (cash or UPI). Free-visit usage is not refunded if a visit is cancelled or rescheduled.
Listings
Properties are submitted by our agents and reviewed by our admin team before appearing on the site. We aim for accuracy but details (availability, pricing, condition) should be confirmed at the visit — listings can change or be withdrawn without notice.
Acceptable use
Users must not submit false information, harass agents or owners, or attempt to circumvent the visit-booking process to contact owners directly.
Limitation of liability
Makan On Rent is not liable for the condition of listed properties, the conduct of property owners, or disputes arising from a tenancy. We connect you with agents and owners in good faith but the final rental agreement is between you and the owner.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
